BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 31 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić announced that the Republika Srpska Government will adopt a decision on one-time financial assistance for families in Srpska, providing BAM 100 for each primary school student and BAM 150 for each secondary school and university student.
Minić said that Republika Srpska is financially stable and is currently in a position to provide parents with this assistance so that they can purchase essential school supplies.
"We will allocate significant funds for this purpose," Minić said at a press conference following a session of the SNSD Presidency.
He recalled that the Republika Srpska Government has provided free textbooks for all primary school students, adding that this measure will also help them prepare for school more easily.
Regarding the increase in direct and indirect revenues, Minić said that these were a direct result of increased economic activity rather than additional levies.
"Our GDP will reach BAM 20 billion by the end of the year, while the investment cycle exceeds BAM 7.4 billion," Minić said.
He added that the Republika Srpska Government had increased war veterans allowances, maternity benefits and other allowances in the previous period.
"I am pleased to be at the helm of a Government that is expanding its involvement in every segment of society, from the family to the economy," Minić concluded.
