BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 7 /SRNA/ – The SNSD leader Milorad Dodik says that every now and then someone tries to trick us with some non-existent D-Day on BuH’s little European path, noting that this time it concerns the laws on court and HJPC.
Dodik said that there was one landing in Normandy, and only one real D-Day.
“First tell us under which laws that court and those judges will try and prosecutors will bring indictments? One country cannot have two separate lawmaking authorities. If they are to try according to laws imposed by a foreigner, why are you asking us to adopt them?” Dodik asked.
If they are to try according to laws brought by the only legitimate body - the Parliamentary Assembly, Dodik said that in that case the mess created by impositions must first be cleaned up, then dialogue can take place.
He also asked why amendments to the Criminal Code are not adopted first, which would annul all previous imposed decisions.
“You want us in Europe - then give us European standards. The rule of law does not mean that an individual imposes laws. Treat us as partners, not as subjects you supposedly want to admit, but without voting or decision-making rights. If we had wanted to be ruled over, we would not have fought for our freedom so many times,” Dodik posted on X.
