ESTABLISH COOPERATION IN ENERGY, SPA TOURISM AND FRUIT GROWING

STUTTGART, MARCH 29 /SRNA/ - The head of the Representation of Republika Srpska in Germany, Mićo Ćetković, told SRNA that fruitful cooperation between Srpska and the country where he lives and works, among other things, can be achieved in terms of energy, spa tourism and fruit growing as an important branch of the republic's agriculture.

Ćetković said that Republika Srpska has considerable potential for economic investments in energy and agriculture.

"Among other things, there is always room for our raspberries to be sold on the German market, as well as plums, because their quality is indisputable. Good cooperation can also be achieved in spa tourism, which in Republika Srpska has been raised or is being raised to the European level," said Ćetković.

He stated that the image of Serbs in Germany is not great, but it can be said that it is more favorable than in the nineties of the last century thanks to the diplomatic and other efforts of the representatives of Republika Srpska.

Ćetković said that the different economic cooperation between the representatives of the two nations contributes significantly to the better image of the Serbs in Germany.

He expressed satisfaction that many Serbian businessmen from Germany are investing and intend to invest in the territory of Srpska.

"We are working to convince as many of our people from here as possible to invest in Srpska because it will contribute to the republic's development in our mutual interest," Ćetković stated.

According to his estimates, there are up to 30,000 people in Stuttgart alone, and probably around 700,000 people in Germany, who could be included in the Serbian diaspora.

"And this representation of ours comes to them like a second house or Republika Srpska in miniature. Therefore, we have excellent contacts with the Serbian diaspora, as well as associations, cultural and artistic societies," Ćetković stated.
