ĐURĐEVIĆ: CEC DECISION ILLEGAL, NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO ANNUL WILL OF PEOPLE

BIJELJINA, AUGUST 28 /SRNA/ – The decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH to call early presidential elections has neither legality nor legitimacy and was made under the direct dictate of foreigners and their local executors, including, unfortunately, two members from Srpska, said SNSD Presidency member Aleksandar Đurđević.

“Clearly – the president of Srpska was not elected in Sarajevo, nor in the offices of the High Representatives, but in elections where the people of Srpska clearly and loudly expressed their will. No one has the right to annul that will,” Đurđević said.

Đurđević expressed support for the positions of all officials in Srpska who, as he noted, unequivocally stated that Srpska will not accept the CEC-imposed elections.

“Our response will be unified and democratic – on October 25, at the referendum, the people will once again make it clear that the people are the sole sovereign in Srpska and that only the people have the right to decide its future,” Đurđević emphasized.

According to him, Srpska has a president, institutions, people, and the strength to resist any form of violence.

“There is no CEC, High Representative, or political force that can break the will of the Serb people,” Đurđević underlined.
