BELGRADE, APRIL 3 /SRNA/ - Lawyer Goran Petronijević believes that the meeting between the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in Moscow is primarily of great importance for Srpska, but also means a lot for Serbdom and the Balkans in general.
Petronijević assessed that Dodik's meeting with Putin should first of all be viewed in a global context, because it is a meeting with the president of one of the world's largest powers.
"That great power is currently involved in events that we hope will end soon in a way to emphasize the role of the Russian Federation in global events," Petronijević told SRNA.
According to his opinion, the way in which Dodik was received, officially and seriously with a lot of current topics, means a lot, not only for Republika Srpska, but also for the entire Serb people, as well as the Balkans.
He believes that the trials against President Dodik, Prime Minister Radovan Višković and Speaker of the National Assembly Nenad Stevandić before the "unfortunate and self-proclaimed" judiciary in BiH are a consequence of broader global developments.
"I hope that these developments will go in the direction of improving the status of the Serb people and, I should say, the Serb states in the Balkans," Petronijević said.
