DODIK WITH BISHOP SERGIJE IN A SPIRIT OF MUTUAL RESPECT AND SINCERE UNDERSTANDING

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik met with His Grace Bishop Sergije of Bihać and Petrovac and stressed that the eparchy, despite difficult circumstances, is preserving the spiritual and national identity of the Serb people.

"Throughout all the years I have been involved in public service, my unwavering support for the Serbian Orthodox Church /SOC/ has been evident, and I have particular respect for the Eparchy of Bihać and Petrovac, which for more than 30 years, despite difficult circumstances, has devotedly preserved the spiritual and national identity of our people," Dodik wrote on X.

Dodik said that the meeting was held in a spirit of mutual respect and sincere understanding, and that he thanked Bishop Sergije for their cooperation, trust, and understanding to date, as well as for everything he does for his people and the Serbian Orthodox Church.
