SOCHI, OCTOBER 2 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated that he informed Russian President Vladimir Putin that Srpska has once again ensured that BiH does not impose sanctions on Russia and will do everything possible to prevent suspicious arms transfers from defense industry factories in the Federation of BiH that could end up on the Ukrainian battlefield.
Dodik said there had been attempts by Bosniaks to deliver weapons from their defense industry factories in a questionable manner, with the risk of them reaching Ukraine.
"We cannot guarantee that there have not been secret transfers, but we will do everything we can to stop it," Dodik told SRNA and RTRS.
He added that the Russian president briefed him on developments regarding BRICS and discussions with the American side.
"That is important for us to hear so that we can also position ourselves on issues of importance for us," Dodik noted.
According to Dodik, President Putin emphasized that tolerant relations among communities in Russia are a model he would like to see elsewhere.
"International interventionism has led to dramatically poor relations between Christians and Bosniak Muslims in BiH. There is almost no way to fix it - that was my assessment," Dodik said.
The Republika Srpska president stressed that all foreigners must leave BiH - not only Christian Schmidt, but also the foreign judges of the BiH Constitutional Court and anyone who attempts to impose decisions.
He underlined that Putin agreed, noting that Russia pursues a policy of cooperation and friendship.
Dodik emphasized that by issuing verdicts based on decrees imposed by foreigners in BiH, rather than on laws, not only the political but also the legal framework of the country has been destroyed - something that can only be remedied if those decrees are annulled.
"In their desire to harm Serbs, Bosniaks accepted verdicts based on those decrees rather than laws," Dodik said.
He explained to Putin the situation he is facing - that he had been sentenced to one year in prison, which he paid off, and banned from holding executive functions for six years, but that he cannot be prevented from being politically active and serving as party president.
"Bearing in mind that we do not want to make any wrong moves that would give the embittered primitives from the West - who created this entire situation in BiH - a new excuse for anything, we have decided to insist that the inviolable will of the people is with the political option that I represent and lead," Dodik concluded.
