DODIK: WE STILL FEEL THE CONSEQUENCES OF NATO BOMBING TODAY

MOSCOW, May 8 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, said today in Moscow that the Serbian people still feel the consequences of NATO’s bombing with depleted uranium.

Dodik told Russian youth that NATO bombed Serbs twice in the recent past—first in Republika Srpska, then in Serbia—using depleted uranium.

"They called it a humanitarian intervention, yet children suffered. They cynically named the operation in Serbia ‘Merciful Angel,’" Dodik stressed, speaking in the lecture attended by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, and the Minister for Scientific-Technological Development and Higher Education, Željko Budimir.

He said that NATO at that time was not fighting the Serbian army, but against the Serbian future.

Dodik recalled that when Germany was dismantling the former Yugoslavia, Serbs already believed it was Western preparation for what is happening today in Ukraine.

"It is an almost identical situation," Dodik said.

He added that Serbs in the former Yugoslavia were the first to feel the resurgence of new fascist-Nazi ideologies in the West.

"That is why I always appreciate hearing your President, Vladimir Putin, speak about how Westerners treated Yugoslavia," Dodik emphasized.

The President of Republika Srpska also pointed out that Serbs who live outside Serb-administered areas in BiH still endure great hardship and fight for their rights—just as Serbs do in Kosovo and Metohija, and in Montenegro
