BRATUNAC, JULY 5 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that the Serb people must never forget the murdered Serbs from central Podrinje and Birač, who were systematically, deliberately, and persistently killed for three years by Muslim soldiers, without a single day of respite.

"Innocent Serb civilians were killed, even during religious holidays and family patron saint celebrations. Naser Orić and his criminals did not hesitate to kill more than 3,400 Serbs," Dodik said in Bratunac.

He notes that Serbs have become accustomed to the fact that there is no justice for these crimes because, if there were, it would cast an entirely new light on the events in Srebrenica.

"That’s why they don't want to show that there is guilt here. We know that the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office are unconstitutional, created for executions, not for justice. If there had been justice, Naser Orić would not have been acquitted, especially given the fact that he killed a judge, what there are both evidence and witnesses for," Dodik emphasized.

He adds this commemoration is being marked jointly by Republika Srpska and Serbia.

"We must find the strength to commemorate and not allow our murdered, innocent victims to die again, as they are going to die forever if we forget them," Dodik stressed.
