BANJA LUKA, JUNE 1 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, sent a telegram of condolence to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, following the attacks in the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
"In these difficult times, we deeply sympathize with the families of the innocent civilian victims and with the entire brotherly people of the Russian Federation, hoping for a swift recovery of the injured," stated the telegram from the President of Republika Srpska.
Dodik said he received the news of the tragic loss of life in the attacks in the Bryansk and Kursk regions with immense sorrow and sincere regret.
"On behalf of the citizens of Republika Srpska and in my own name, I extend to you my deepest condolences," said Dodik.
Seven people were killed and 71 injured, including three children, after an overpass collapsed onto a passenger train traveling to Moscow near the Russian city of Bryansk last night.
During the night, on the 48th kilometer of the Trosna-Kalinovka highway in the Zheleznogorsky district of the Kursk region, a bridge collapsed as a freight locomotive was crossing it.
