MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 9 /SRNA/ - President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said today in Moscow that bilateral relations between Russia and Srpska are very good and that he is very grateful for Russia's understanding of the political situation in BiH.
"Russia is the guarantor of the Dayton Peace Agreement. We are grateful that Russia at the UN shows itself as a protector of international law and points to its destruction. Russia also points to the fact that the Dayton structure in BiH, which consists of Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats, must be maintained," Dodik said at a press conference after a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
He pointed out that he informed Lavrov that Republika Srpska went through a difficult period with the former US administration, which wanted BiH to be a country governed by the principle of "one man, one vote".
"It is a pleasure that Russia remains in compliance with the Dayton Peace Agreement. Unfortunately, immediately after the signing of this agreement, it began to be demolished," added Dodik.
