DODIK: TROIKA CREATES GREATEST CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS IN BiH

EAST SARAJEVO, APRIL 24 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that BiH is in its biggest constitutional crisis because of the "Troika" and that there will be no return without certain initiatives.

Dodik says that the offer for dialogue still stands.

"They say they don't want to talk to Dodik. Well, that's a relief for me. I come here where I feel comfortable, and I do not need to go to Sarajevo or talk to anyone. You didn't even involve me when you created this crisis with /Christian/ Schmidt. Take whoever you want, here you have the guys from the SDS and PDP. They say the SNSD members won’t come to a session of the House of Peoples and dismiss their ministers. Imagine that - is there any logic in that?" Dodik said.

Dodik told reporters in East Sarajevo that Europe is in crisis and that sovereignty should not be handed over to something whose future shape is uncertain.

He pointed out that there have been enough empty slogans about European prospects from those who haven't proposed a single law of European character.

Dodik, who is also the leader of the SNSD, emphasized that his party has proposed more Europe-related laws during this term, while the "Troika" has not proposed a single one.

"I think we are entering yet another crisis today, a crisis in the functioning of the House of Peoples, where once again nothing can get done," emphasized the President of Republika Srpska, noting that BiH is in its greatest constitutional crisis because of the "Troika".

He assessed that the SDA would not have gone this far and said that Elmedin Konaković had the most communication with the clan from BiH.

"There are other prominent figures as well, but it's not my place to speak about them," said the President of Republika Srpska.

He emphasized that nowadays in Sarajevo, you can't be a journalist or a politician unless you turn Dodik into a monster and claim that he is a fugitive.

"A fugitive from what? Do I seem like a fugitive to you? It doesn't bother me. Look, the `fugitive` was here today, and I will continue to be present in the area of East Sarajevo," said Dodik.

He announced that he would be in Gradina in the coming days, and that after the celebration of his patron saint, Saint George, on May 6, he would travel to Moscow for the military parade marking Victory Day.

"I'm `running away,` indeed, but I always come back," said President Dodik.
