DODIK: THIS IS FIGHT AGAINST SCHMIDT AND POLITICAL SARAJEVO

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBRA 29 /SRNA/ - The leader of the SNSD Milorad Dodik said that the opposition in Republika Srpska misunderstood the invitation to participate in the government, because their only and ultimate goal is the fight against him, pointing out that it is a fight against Christian Schmidt and political Sarajevo.

"This is a political fight against Schmidt and political Sarajevo, who, by respecting a foreigner, broke the system of joint decision-making and essentially destroyed the constitutional order, and brought BiH to the current state of non-functioning and disintegration," said Dodik.

Dodik reminded that the party had previously called on all political actors to boycott the early elections in Republika Srpska, and that this was a prerequisite to send a unified message.

"It was obvious after the conclusions of the National Assembly were passed that the opposition, above all the SDS, ignored those conclusions. They previously received an invitation to participate in the Government of National Unity," said Dodik at a press conference in Banja Luka, after the session of the Main Board of SNSD.

He pointed out that others tried to destabilize Srpska in a hidden way.

"I call on our people to engage. That's the majority in Republika Srpska. I call on them not to think for a moment that it's easy because on the other side is a two-faced structure that argues, fights, shows disunity and gathers around a candidate at the behest of a center from abroad," specified Dodik.

He pointed out that Republika Srpska is the only one functioning with all its institutions, that the Government and the National Assembly remain stable.

"Republika Srpska remains stable and focused on investments, which are increasing every day. I will continue to perform my duties in the best possible way in the interest of the people, representing SNSD and all that we have been doing," Dodik concluded.
