BANJA LUKA, MARCH 27 /SRNA/ - There is no room for fear in Republika Srpska; here, a mature democratic structure and security prevail, said Milorad Dodik, who is taking part in an international scientific conference on security in Banja Luka.

"In Republika Srpska, we have a stable and normal situation," Dodik said.

He added that he is pleased to see a significant number of guests, experts from the region and abroad, who will help to examine the issues he will address through his policies in the upcoming period in the best possible way.

"In Republika Srpska, we understand security as a local environment where children can go to school freely without fear that anything will happen, where people can carry out all their daily activities, where we have stable institutions, and where the state of Republika Srpska carries out economic and other activities," Dodik explained.

He added that if this is not the case, when the environment is not secure, then everything is endangered, both the lives of individuals and global processes.

Dodik emphasized that there is no room for fear or anything else, that normality, institutional stability, and economic activity prevail in Republika Srpska, which do not depend solely on us but also on global disruptions.

He emphasized that the world is in complete disorder when it comes to military activities on a scale not seen in recent decades, which also has repercussions on this region.

Dodik said that it is not easy to identify specific attacks or potential threats, adding that there are institutions dedicated to dealing with them.

"Among other things, the Faculty of Security Sciences, which in this way draws attention to topics of universal significance," said Dodik.

He also emphasized that he believes in the agreement largely reached between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.
