MOSCOW, May 10 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik has stated today in Moscow that Europe is facing enormous problems due to migrants, that these issues are destabilizing its systems, and that the West criticizes Republika Srpska for refusing to repeat errors.
“When we said we wouldn’t accept migrants, we were labeled ‘bad children.’ Now they’ve designated BiH and Albania as destinations. In Albania, those who commit any offense already are being sent back. Željka [Cvijanović] and I were asked to set up three migrant centers in Republika Srpska—we refused and incurred additional problems with the EU,” Dodik told SRNA.
Dodik added that Republika Srpska’s position now is that no migrants will be allowed to stay—but that during transit they will be offered water and food.
“Once again, they see the problem in us, not in Christian Schmidt, whose appointment was illegal. Remove him, or hand him over to us so we can try him,” Dodik said in a joint interview with RS media.
