DODIK: STRONG RUSSIA MEANS GOOD POSITION FOR SERBS

MOSCOW, May 8 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, has stated today in Moscow that a strong Russia means a good position for Serbs.

Dodik emphasized that the person most responsible for Russia’s strength is President Vladimir Putin.

He told the young people at his lecture that they must remain loyal to their nation, faith, and state, and not forget that they belong to the great Russian people.

"You must know that Russia as a state is unquestionable and indivisible. It is the state that protects, while the West’s interest is to dismantle that state," Dodik said, speaking before an audience that included the Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, and the Minister for Scientific-Technological Development and Higher Education, Željko Budimir.

Dodik explained that he traveled to Moscow to mark May 9 and the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism—a day that Europe has renamed “Europe Day,” which he described as a revision of history.

"No one can deny the fact that the Soviet Union—and the Russians above all—contributed most to crushing fascism," Dodik declared, adding that young people should remember history and understand the West’s interests.

He delivered his lecture as part of the educational marathon “Knowledge,” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Second World War.
