DODIK: STRENGTH OF SRPSKA RESTS ON SACRIFICE THAT SERBS REMEMBER

SOKOLAC, JULY 7 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said that every white cross at the Serbian military cemetery Novi Zejtinlik in Sokolac reminds that Republika Srpska was not created by chance and that it has no right to be weak, and that its strength rests on the sacrifice that the Serbian people remember, on the unity that it preserves and on the vow that it will never allow what was defended to be lost.

"There is always a special silence in Sokolac. It is not a silence of oblivion, but of respect. In Novi Zejtinlik rest those who, with their lives, built into the foundations of Republika Srpska what cannot be compensated for by anything - freedom," announced Dodik on X.

Dodik noted that the greatest gratitude to Serbian heroes is not in words, but in deeds.

"In the strong Republika Srpska, in our unity, in every child who grows up here freely and in every success we achieve as a nation. We owe it to them. That's why we will protect, strengthen and win! In their name and for future generations," said Dodik.

961 soldiers of the Republika Srpska Army were buried in this cemetery.
