DODIK: SRPSKA - THE ONLY PLACE OF DECISION-MAKING

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 5 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated that Srpska is the only place where decisions should be made and that it would be good if the opposition accepts it as well.

"That is why it is important to incorporate into the new constitution, and to implement it operationally from today, that no law at the BiH level be adopted until it receives the consent of the Parliament of Republika Srpska," Dodik stated at the thematic session of the Republika Srpska Government.

He pointed out that what the opposition is doing now is not in the interest of Republika Srpska.

"This is not about a dispute about the political programs at the BiH level that we have, but about the national positioning of the Serb people," Dodik said.

He emphasized that the politicization of the unconstitutional BiH Court and BiH Prosecutor's Office must not be allowed to be directed against Republika Srpska.

Dodik warned that the preparation for the rapid adoption of the so-called law on the extra-constitutional Court of BiH is particularly dangerous for all people living in Republika Srpska.

"Republika Srpska must not accept or allow this. Regardless of the fact that we have the application of the Law on the Invalidity of the Law on the Court and the Prosecutor's Office, Republika Srpska has a plan to offer to ensure the functioning of a certain level of the Prosecutor's Office and the Court at the level of BiH in the final agreement, which should reflect what BiH has the right to," Dodik stated.

He again invited opposition representatives to discuss measures needed for additional stability in Republika Srpska.

"Stability, not on an internal level, but in relations at the level of BiH," Dodik emphasized.

He added that the call for dialogue is not a sign of weakness, but rather his responsibility as the President of Republika Srpska.

Dodik also believes that the initiative that came from the academic community of Republika Srpska to hold a Serbian convocation should be supported.

"Let's discuss all important issues, and representatives of the government, the opposition, the non-governmental sector, fighters, religious communities and others would be invited, and a minimum national plan and responsibilities should be determined," Dodik said.
