DODIK: SRPSKA STRONGLY SUPPORTS RUSSIA'S EFFORTS IN BUILDING NEW GLOBAL SECURITY ARCHITECTURE

MOSCOW, MAY 28 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said today in Moscow that Republika Srpska strongly supports Russia's efforts, initiatives, and leadership in building a new global security architecture.

"Republika Srpska strongly supports Russia's efforts, initiatives, and leadership to build a new global security architecture based on the agreement of all members of the international system, one without double standards and without the use of force as the sole argument of law, something we have witnessed in the past and still see in some regions today," Dodik said today at the International Conference of High Representatives for Security Issues in Moscow.

He expressed confidence that this gathering will provide a foundation for the entire world to seek a new system of balanced security that will guarantee a safe and stable world and efforts to overcome what is today called global chaos.

Dodik emphasized that the experience of Republika Srpska shows that the West does not stand behind its agreements and treaties, noting that the Dayton Agreement has been completely undermined and devastated.

"Similarly, Resolution 1244 on Kosovo and Metohija is not being respected, just as the Minsk Agreement, signed between Russia and leading European countries, was not respected," Dodik said.

He recalled that later, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that the agreement’s only purpose was to enable a new realignment and strengthening of Western countries in their efforts to bolster Ukraine in its fight against Russia.

"The new militarization being announced in European countries, the military strengthening of Europe, especially Germany, certainly does not provide a secure future for us who have negative experiences related to the two world wars in which Germany played the leading role," Dodik added.

He pointed out that the current Western concept of international security is best seen through the example of Republika Srpska and the southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija, which are constantly under attack, contrary to all international legal principles.

Dodik also said that since the beginning of the special military operation, a new era of resistance to the hegemony of the liberal, globalist West has begun, and that today the Russian concept of a multipolar world is winning, in which equal opportunities should be given both to the countries of the privileged North and countries of the global South and East.

According to him, the global East is no longer the periphery of the world, but in geo-economic and geopolitical terms is becoming the epicenter of the 21st century.

Dodik emphasized that the hypocritical geopolitics of the collective West, carried out by the EU and Great Britain, is best recognized in the Balkans, where they treat this part of the continent as the "Middle East of Europe".

He said, among other things, that in BiH, neoliberals are conducting a historical, political, economic, and cultural experiment that threatens to destroy the Serbs as a historical and political people.

"The Serbian people in the motherland Serbia are treated by the collective West as a disruptive factor to European security because they are not integrated into Euro-Atlantic projects, namely, the European Union and NATO," Dodik emphasized.

On the other hand, as he said, Republika Srpska and Serbia are the only ones in all of Europe that refused to impose sanctions on the Russian Federation following the start of the special military operation, and that is why the leaderships of Republika Srpska and Serbia are being politically persecuted
