DODIK: SRPSKA IN FINAL STAGE OF ITS POLITICAL STRUGGLE

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated on Sunday that Republika Srpska is in the final stage of its political struggle and political course.

“Either Republika Srpska will distance itself sufficiently from Sarajevo in pursuing what is its right under Dayton, or Republika Srpska will truly cease to exist,” Dodik stressed.

He recalled that in the past, high representatives had dismissed officials in Republika Srpska and carried out many unlawful and unconstitutional acts.

“However, now everything is being shifted to the regular courts, which, in explaining everything that is happening to me, write that the high representative is part of the constitutional order, which is an outright lie, and by doing so, they are laying the groundwork for the next narrative,” Dodik told RTRS.

Dodik pointed to the key problem, that an act of a lower authority is being used to undermine the Constitution through regular courts.

He stated that there are ongoing, continuous efforts to diminish and abolish Republika Srpska, stressing that the culprits are always the same: politically motivated Bosniaks, united in their determination to cause as much trouble as possible for Republika Srpska.

“For them, Republika Srpska is a synonym for evil. It is clear that this is a confrontation of Muslims with us Christians, and that they have felt the loss of the former American structure, so they have accelerated this agenda,” Dodik said.
