DODIK: SPECIAL MILITARY OPERATION WAS ENTIRELY JUSTIFIED; SRPSKA DID NOT ALLOW SANCTIONS ON RUSSIA

MOSCOW, May 8 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, said today in Moscow that it was completely justified for Russia to launch its special military operation in Ukraine.

Dodik stated that when Russia began its special military operation, Republika Srpska never once permitted BiH to impose sanctions on Russia.

“That wouldn’t have meant much to Russia, but it would have been tragic for us if it had happened. Only Republika Srpska and Serbia in the Balkans did not impose sanctions on Russia,” Dodik said during the lecture to Russian youth.

He pointed out the enormous level of Russophobia in Europe.

Dodik emphasized that Russia is the guarantor of the Dayton Peace Accords.

“The President of Russia Putin has never forgotten his friendship toward us,” Dodik said.

He added that he demands the West respect the Dayton Agreement, but reminded his audience that the West has nevertheless failed to honor even the Minsk agreements.
