DODIK: SERB PEOPLE SHOULD GATHER AROUND REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 6 /SRNA/ - President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik called on Serbs in Republika Srpska to gather around Srpska, which was attacked with the aim that acts of lower legal power, which come from Sarajevo, can derogate any act by anyone in Republika Srpska.

Dodik said that history has never recorded complete unity and that one should have no illusions about it.

"There are individuals who think that showing disunity is now the supreme act of their politics, but the people must decide that. I will not judge them; I will not say anything about them. They must know that I do not decide, from an armchair, about the fate of this nation, but in accordance with their will, which I will listen to in the referendum," said Dodik.

Dodik said that if the referendum accepts that Sarajevo's policy is right, it will be a death sentence for Republika Srpska, and that if the people of Republika Srpska do not accept it, the political struggle will continue.

At the press conference after the meeting of the leaders of the parties that make up the government in the Republika Srpska, he pointed to the fact that there is a Law on Immunity of the Republika Srpska, which in Article 3, Paragraph 2 states that the President of the Republic and members of the Government cannot be held accountable for their actions during their mandate.

"This law was confirmed by the Constitutional Court of Republika Srpska and that law is valid. The Election Law of BiH states in Chapter 1 that this law regulates the election of members and delegates of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and members of the Presidency of BiH, and establishes the principles for elections at all levels of government in BiH. This article of the law says that the CEC is not competent for elections on the territory of Republika Srpska. They usurped that," emphasized Dodik.

Dodik added that the BiH Electoral Law that was adopted is an attack on Republika Srpska, same as all the decisions that are in line with the decisions of Christian Schmidt.
