DODIK: SERB AND JEWISH PEOPLES SHARE AN UNSHAKABLE WILL TO PRESERVE THEIR IDENTITY

TEL AVIV, JANUARY 26 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik said after a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog that the Serb and Jewish peoples share the experience of suffering, as well as the strength of survival and an unshakable will to preserve their identity.

"The Republic of Srpska remains a sincere friend of Israel, founded on respect, truth and solidarity. Such friendships are not fleeting politics, but a lasting bond between peoples who know what it means to fight to remain who they are," Dodik wrote on the social network X.

Dodik said that he and the acting President of the Republic of Srpska, Ana Trišić Babić, met with Herzog, a statesman who dignifiedly represents a people of rich history and strong identity.

"We discussed strengthening friendly relations, mutual understanding and the values that connect our peoples - freedom, security and the right to decide our own future," Dodik emphasized.

Acting President of the Republic of Srpska Ana Trišić Babić and SNSD President Milorad Dodik are on a multi-day official visit to Israel, where they will hold a number of important meetings with Israeli officials.
