BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Sarajevo is descending into ever deeper darkness, President Milorad Dodik said after the tires of a vehicle belonging to tourists from Serbia were slashed.

"Even cars with Serbian license plates are no longer safe in Sarajevo. How, then, can Serbs expect to be safe?" Dodik asked.

He said the result of what he described as anti-Serb hysteria that had escalated in recent weeks was not only the slashed tires, but also a clear message to the people of Serbia and to all Serbs that they were not welcome.

"For four centuries they have mistreated Serbs in these lands. In both the First and Second World Wars, they were on the side of those who wanted to eradicate the Serbian people. They sent the Hanjar Division, together with SS divisions, against the Serbian people. Today they are trying to elevate themselves to the status of victims," Dodik said.

He said Bosniaks - Muslims could not accept that they were not the only victims of the civil war, stressing that Serbs and others had also suffered.

"They were not the only ones who had victims; other peoples did too. The perpetrators were not only Serbs; there were perpetrators among Bosniaks as well. They cleansed Sarajevo of Serbs and would like to do the same with all of BiH. As long as Republika Srpska exists, that dream will never be fulfilled, and Srpska was created to last forever," Dodik wrote on X.

In Sarajevo`s Breka neighborhood, an unidentified person slashed two tires on a car with Belgrade license plates during the night from Sunday to Monday.
