DODIK: REPUBLIKA SRPSKA DEVELOPMENT PLAN IS BEING REALIZED IN EVERY MUNICIPALITY

ISTOČNO NOVO SARAJEVO, JUNE 10 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik has stated today in Istočno Novo Sarajevo that every place in Republika Srpska has a development strategy that is being implemented.

"Our story was about how to enable the entire Republika Srpska to function and live, so we decided that in Trebinje we would offer construction projects that would attract a significant number of tourists, in Foča we would continue building faculties to ensure the highest number of students and in Višegrad we developed Andrićgrad", Dodik pointed out.

He added that in Istočno Sarajevo efforts have been made to develop Jahorina and strengthen the university, including the construction of a new Rectorate building.

"We are building roads, and for every place we have a strategy that is, as a rule, being implemented", Dodik told reporters ahead of the panel "The Geostrategic Position of Republika Srpska" held in Istočno Novo Sarajevo.

Speaking about the panel titled "Bosniak Sarajevo - Common Interests or a Platform for Conflict", Dodik said a large number of public figures in the field of geopolitics and political science had expressed interest in offering their views on Republika Srpska, noting that similar events were previously held in Trebinje, Banja Luka and Doboj.

"We intend to continue in Prijedor, Laktaši and we will conclude in Bijeljina and Zvornik", Dodik noted.

According to Dodik, participants in the panel consistently show strong interest in developments in Republika Srpska.

"Professor /Nenad/ Kecmanović has been involved in the formation of Republika Srpska from the beginning, while /Aleksandar/ Pavić worked in the cabinet of Biljana Plavšić during her mandate. He had not been in Republika Srpska for a long time before now", Dodik added.
