BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated today that Republika Srpska and Serbia have completed a series of joint projects, and that in the coming period it will be necessary to unite all segments of society and work together on all issues.

"We must jointly design projects to be sustainable, to have a clear energy policy, secure food production, and preserve spirituality, so that we can respond to the challenges of the times ahead," Dodik said.

At a session of the Cooperation Council, Dodik emphasized that Serbia and Republika Srpska are gaining an increasing number of friends, and that this type of cooperation is the best way to identify the most important steps for the future.

"Freedom and peace must be our primary goal. Our only demand remains one state and one people, as many others in the Balkans have achieved. It is time for us to do the same. It will not be easy, but if this generation does not set this as its goal, it will never happen," Dodik emphasized.

Dodik called on Serbia’s institutions to do everything possible to preserve Republika Srpska and Serbia, to uphold democratic governance, and for everyone to unite around the interests of the Serbian people.

He thanked Serbia for its support and understanding, emphasizing that it has never been to the detriment of Bosniaks or any other people.
