DODIK: REMAINING UNITED IN FAITH IS PATRIARCH THEOPHILOS’ MESSAGE TO SERBS

JERUSALEM, SEPTEMBER 8 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik said that His Holiness Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem, during their meeting in Jerusalem, blessed the Serb people to remain united in their faith.

Dodik said that Patriarch Theophilos III thanked Republika Srpska for its support and assistance after Iranian drones damaged the dome of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

"The Patriarch Theophilos thanked for this as he understands what Srpska is and where it is. He expressed a desire to come to Republika Srpska and Banja Luka. He conveyed his greetings to Metropolitan Jefrem of Banja Luka," Dodik told the press after visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

He assessed that the Christian community in Israel lives in a delicate situation.

"That is why we are grateful for Israel’s assistance. The Patriarchate of Jerusalem symbolizes the entire Orthodox Christian world. That is why it is necessary to be here in Jerusalem," Dodik said.

He said that he lit candles at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem for the Serb people and for Republika Srpska and Serbia, wishing for peace and stability to be maintained.
