DODIK: REFORM AGENDA IS FARCE; SNSD WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON SRPSKA

SOCHI, OCTOBER 1 /SRNA/ –Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik says the Reform Agenda adopted by the Council of Ministers is a farce and that Europe, if consistent at all, will reject it.

“I agreed yesterday for Republika Srpska to support the Reform Agenda. It wasn’t even translated into the local languages, not even into Serbian. That’s how they play games, and I just wanted to prove how much of a farce it is. It’s full of random things,” said Dodik.

The president of Republika Srpska stressed that the EU is trying in every way to make life in this region unbearable.

“You’re trying to do everything so that even the few creative people left emigrate and become wage workers in Germany and other countries. The EU and Brussels are a lie, a scam. Whenever someone speaks on behalf of the European Commission - from Soreca, Kos, to von der Leyen - it’s all lies,” said Dodik, who is also the SNSD leader.

He emphasized that SNSD will never give up on Republika Srpska.

“I’m proud of the people in my party and our coalition. They have elevated Republika Srpska to a significant position. /Christian/ Schmidt will leave, but what he has done cannot stay behind. If you want to move forward, return to the Dayton Peace Agreement. You don’t want to? Then we won’t live with you who use decrees to pass judgment on us,” Dodik said.

He claimed that a few Serbs have been bribed, which is now visible through the opposition, including some respected individuals who frequently appear in media across the Federation of BiH, smearing Republika Srpska and its representatives.

Dodik said nothing will stop him from continuing to fight for Republika Srpska.

“They say I can’t even be party leader anymore. Fine, I’ll be the president of an NGO, and then you’ll see what happens. You think it’s hard to rally people around the idea of an independent Republika Srpska? We constantly come to the edge; one day we’ll break through. If we never try, we’ll never get there,” said Dodik, adding that Republika Srpska will one day be independent.

He also stated that the SNSD candidate for Republika Srpska president in the upcoming early elections, Siniša Karan, can continue the political fight.

“Instead of one Dodik fighting politically, now they’ve got two. Judging by Karan’s approach, I’m confident he’ll take it a step further. He will never give up on Republika Srpska,” said Dodik.

He concluded by saying that everything will be clear in the 2026 elections, and that it would be wise for Sarajevo to stop the process of snap elections as it will simultaneously become a referendum.

“On the same day, elections and a referendum will be held, with the question: Do you accept what Schmidt did? The answer will be a resounding ‘No’, just as it will be ‘No’ to the Court and Prosecutor’s Office,” Dodik concluded.
