DODIK: "ORAO" - STRATEGIC PILLAR OF SRPSKA'S DEFENSE INDUSTRY

BIJELJINA, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA/ - Bijeljina's "Orao" is today a strategic pillar of Republika Srpska's defense and aviation industry, President Milorad Dodik said, congratulating the company's management and workers on its 82 years.

Dodik stressed that "Orao" shared the fate of the Serb people and Republika Srpska, and that its 82 years are not just the anniversary of a factory but living proof of our continuity and endurance.

"Where many thought we would stop, our people preserved knowledge, machines and pride," Dodik said.

Dodik said "Orao" is today a pillar of security and the pride of Bijeljina and all of Republika Srpska, inseparably linked with Serbia and turned towards new plants, modern technologies and world markets.

"The eagle has never been an ordinary bird for the Serb people. For centuries it has been on our coat of arms and our flags as a symbol of height, freedom, statehood and strength that does not surrender even when the storms are fiercest. The eagle does not look at the ground or flee from the wind, but spreads its wings and flies above it," Dodik said.

He extended his sincere congratulations to Director Marko Mrkajić, the management and every worker and engineer at "Orao".

"You are preserving more than jobs - you are preserving knowledge, tradition and the wings of Republika Srpska. Happy 82nd anniversary, and may 'Orao' continue to fly high and strong," Dodik posted on X.
