BANJA LUKA, MARCH 22 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, says the opposition does not have the legitimacy to represent the Serb people and Republika Srpska, but that it has the capacity to betray, which it proved when responded to the call of Muslims, instead of the call of the Srpska institutions.

"The opposition does not have the popular legitimacy to represent the Serb people and Republika Srpska. They do not have democratic legitimacy, but have treachery capacity. Muslims find those who show servility. The opposition did not want to talk to us about important issues, but responded to the Muslims," Dodik told the press in Banja Luka.

He says that this move cannot be called anything other than treason, which is motivated by the intention of /Mirko/ Šarović to introduce a number of the opposition into the official institutions at the BiH level.

"That will speed up the disintegration of BiH. Their attempt to impose such a will is going to result in the disintegration of BiH. In some ways, I look forward to this development of the situation. The PDP and SDS do not have the legitimacy to act on behalf of the people. Only those who ingrained the hatred for Srpska will accept such losers. Any action against the will of the Srpska institutions will constitute a criminal offense," said Dodik.

Answering the question about the meeting of HDZ leaders with representatives of the opposition and "Troika" parties, Dodik said that he never expected Dragan Čović to accept what Republika Srpska insists on.

"We cannot accept illegitimate and unconstitutional things. I believe that Dragan /Čović/ will negotiate the Electioral Law with the Muslims. If it becomes apparent that they are electing a member of the Presidency, we will support that solution in which the electoral will of the Croats can be seen. Regardless of everything, we will support the agreement. I believe that choosing opposition is a wrong choice for them," said Dodik.

Speaking about EUFOR's engagement and activities in Republika Srpska area, he says that he has nothing against their stay, but that there is no need for any engagement, which they also know.

"They are bringing unrest among the Serb population. It would be good if they grouped somewhere else. Republika Srpska has no military or paramilitary formations. We have the Police as a legitimate and constitutional structure and they will work on the security of Republika Srpska. Our Police have no intention of treating anyone negatively. The Police have the greatest support of the people. That should be in the interest of others here, too," said Dodik.

He points out that Republika Srpska will think about whether it will support the EUFOR force remaining after the end of the current term. /end/vos
