DODIK: NO DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OUTSIDE CONSTITUTIONAL AND LEGAL AUTHORITY

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 4 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that digital transformation can be developed only within clearly defined constitutional and legal competencies and that Republika Srpska will never abandon its jurisdictions.

"A certain Almir Badnjević from IDDEEA spoke at length before a group of ambassadors, the so-called Peace Implementation Council /PIC/, about building a digital state of BiH. Taken together, it is yet another farce, a lie, an illegal act and an attempt at usurpation," Dodik wrote on the social network X.

He added that fraudsters do not build systems or states, but rather undermine them.

"A man who does not respect binding and final court decisions has imagined turning an administrative organization at the BiH level into some sort of 'umbrella digital body.' Well, he cannot and he will not be able to!" Dodik underlined.

He pointed out that no "digital identities" can be separated from real identities, registries, and personal data, which are owned by and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the ministries of the interior.

"Digital transformation can and should be developed only within clearly defined constitutional and legal competencies, and Republika Srpska will never abandon its competencies, regardless of the wishes and fantasies of various passing figures," Dodik stressed.
