SOCHI, OCTOBER 2 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik says that his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin was very successful and that he is leaving Sochi with strong understanding and support for the Dayton Peace Agreement.
"The conversation was very open and fair. I believe that in discussions with other powerful global partners, especially the United States, it is important to point out that they should not abandon the Balkans or leave it to the Germans," Dodik told reporters from SRNA and RTRS.
Regardless of Republika Srpska’s desire to build relations with Germany, Dodik says, they are behaving like the former U.S. administration headed by Joseph Biden.
"I am leaving this place with strong understanding from the president and support for the Dayton Peace Agreement, for dialogue and negotiations. An understanding that internationals bring no good," said Dodik, adding that President Putin also spoke about this during the plenary session of the Valdai Discussion Club.
