DODIK: MALIGNANT INFLUENCE COMES FROM SARAJEVO, NOT FROM RUSSIANS

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 21 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that the only malignant influence in this area comes from Sarajevo, not from the Russians, who only want international law to be respected.

He added that if there is a malignant influence, it comes from Muslim-Bosniak nationalism.

Dodik pointed out that they seek to impose taxes and seize property, asking whether that is not malignant.

“What is malignant about the Russians saying they want international law to be respected?” Dodik asked.

According to him, this was accepted by some Westerners who tried to place Russia in a negative context.

Dodik told RTRS that Serbs and Russians have always been on the same side of history.

The President of Republika Srpska noted that, out of gratitude to the Romanov family, the Russian-Serbian Orthodox Center was built in Banja Luka, and that today the first liturgy is being held in the Center’s church.

Dodik emphasized that the domes of the church already dominate the city skyline and pointed out that it is not just a church, but also a space where various events will be held.

“When everything is completed in a year, it will be impressive, and those who criticize it will see what it as a whole represents,” Dodik said, adding that the construction was financed by the authorities of Republika Srpska.
