BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 24 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska has always pursued a defensive policy and has never taken any expansionist action, unlike political Sarajevo, which persistently seeks territorial, political, civilizational, and other forms of expansion at the expense of Serbs and Republika Srpska, President Milorad Dodik said in an interview with SRNA.

"We in Republika Srpska are not interested in a single inch of the Federation of BiH, except for the areas where Serbs live, and where we aim to provide economic and social support," Dodik added.

He said that some processes may have worked to the advantage of political Sarajevo, but many aspects of their calculations will turn out to be very poor.

Dodik emphasized that there are good people in Sarajevo with whom dialogue is possible, but they cannot step outside the existing framework, as the main focus of the Sarajevo political talks is how to elevate Islam while undermining Christianity.

"I believe that goal has failed; they lost and can no longer claim it as a potential victory," Dodik emphasized.

According to him, the policy of the Republika Srpska leadership has been to preserve the Dayton Peace Agreement, rather than to achieve any sort of victory.

Dodik said the era of a "lying political Sarajevo" has shown that a lie cannot serve as a policy.

"Policies that are pursued must always have a goal. They had only one goal - a goal of hatred. I have always been guided by the remark of a wise military commander who said you should never strike the enemy where they are strongest, but where they are blind. He meant blindness caused by hatred, and if hatred is the focus of political action - as it is in Sarajevo - then in the end they must be losers. That is what is happening to them," Dodik said.

Regarding the Dayton Agreement, President Dodik said that the agreement is now almost non-existent and is no longer discussed.

"Those who spoke the most about defending it were the very ones who persistently sought to undermine it, while we, who wanted to uphold the letter of Dayton, were accused of undermining it," Dodik said.

IT'S TIME FOR A NEW AGREEMENT IN BiH, IF POSSIBLE

He believes that it is time for a new agreement in BiH, if one is possible.

"I think it is impossible, but in principle, no one can refuse agreements. Muslims know well that the time has come for a new fundamental agreement, if BiH is to exist," Dodik said, adding that Muslims in BiH will not be the ones to decide with whom negotiations will take place.

He emphasized that they will not decide who will negotiate on behalf of Republika Srpska.

"It doesn't have to be me; this will be decided by the people, not by Bakir Izetbegović or others," Dodik said.

Regarding the constant attacks by political Sarajevo on Republika Srpska, President Dodik explained that these attacks have both daily and long-term goals.

"The daily goal is to achieve what they consider small victories, through which they can show their servility to foreigners daily. What have they actually won? Nothing. They have only celebrated victories that, supposedly, were made by foreigners imposing bad measures on us," Dodik emphasized.

He stated that this only confirms that Muslims in BiH do not have a political elite, but rather a quasi-structure blinded by hatred and the need to secure their position from that hatred.

Dodik noted that BiH has in no way demonstrated that it can function as a state, and according to the international agreement, it is not meant to be one.

BiH IS TERRITORY

"BiH is a territory that has no authority here, except that which has been taken from the entities. It is not envisaged that the common level should have `state authority`. Under the Dayton Agreement, it is not stipulated that BiH institutions are superior to the entity institutions if a decision has not been made by consensus. And many decisions have never been made, but were imposed by the High Representatives," Dodik emphasized.

He explained that BiH was supposed to be a state community, but then the Muslims tried to claim that BiH belongs to them, that Banja Luka belongs to them.

"It is not theirs. No matter how appealing the name `BiH` is to them, it is unpleasant to us. I understand that the name `Republika Srpska` is very unacceptable and unpleasant to them, but if they have the right to feel that something is unpleasant, why don't we have that right?" Dodik asked.

He said it has become evident that the Muslim political elite does not know how to build a multiethnic state, and that they cannot create either their own state or someone else's.

"They are not even a factor that can be relevant in building a state, and they have shown this through their subservience to foreigners, who worked more for the functioning of the system than they created themselves," Dodik concluded.

He emphasized that the Muslim authorities are doing underhanded things to their own people. “Just look at Jablanica. I would have finished that in 20 days. It is sad what they are doing to their own people,” President Dodik stated.
