DODIK: ISRAELI LEADERSHIP UNDERSTANDS OUR SITUATION

JERUSALEM, MARCH 27 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik says the Israeli leadership with whom he spoke in Jerusalem understands the current situation in Republika Srpska and BiH and has expressed solidarity with Srpska.

Dodik has pointed out that Srpska is in a position to inherit important friends, which will be seen in the coming days.

"I am very happy that I can notice that they know the situation in Republika Srpska and BiH very well. They are very supportive of our situation regarding the persecution carried out by the destructive forces from Sarajevo. They are full of understanding," Dodik said after participating in the International Antisemitism Conference in Jerusalem.

He stated that the goal of the Srpska delegation in Israel was to additionally present the problem of Srpska.

"We really succeeded," said Dodik.

Dodik said that he had the opportunity to speak with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and that he was pleased that he knew about the problems Republika Srpska had.

He stated that Netanyahu expressed gratitude for what Srpska did to properly present the situation regarding Israel and the Jews.

Dodik said that Republika Srpska remains a great and important friend of Israel and the Jewish people.

"Netanyahu said `I know about you and Republika Srpska, I respect and am grateful for everything'. That is quite enough for me," Dodik told RTRS and ATV.
