DODIK: IS RUSSIAN MALIGNANT INFLUENCE ACTUALLY SUPPORT FOR DAYTON?

MOSCOW, September 10 /SRNA/ - President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik asked whether Russia's clear support for the Dayton Peace Agreement and the territorial integrity of BiH can be called malignant influence.

"Is that malignant influence, while it is not malignant influence when /Head of the EU Delegation to BiH, Johann Sattler/ speaks here about the rule of law?" Dodik said in an interview published on SRNA's YouTube channel.

He stressed that Sattler considers himself the constitutional authority, believing that law is only what he thinks, not what is written in legislation.

"What is worst, Sattler is a lawyer. How is he not ashamed before the law?" Dodik asked.

The President of Srpska further questioned how the EU itself is not ashamed, "when everything they say is a lie".

He recalled that during the visit of former EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton to Banjaluka, an agreement was reached on how to solve the judicial problems in BiH raised by Republika Srpska, yet nothing was implemented.

"Why must we be in the EU? Just because they think we have to? Perhaps we would be lucky not to be in the EU," Dodik concluded.
