DODIK: INSTITUTIONS SHOULD SUPPORT THE ECONOMY AND THE REAL SECTOR

LAKTAŠI, August 21 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated today in Aleksandrovac near Laktaši that the institutions of Srpska should support the economy and the real sector.

"Republika Srpska can certainly do this. Srpska is financially and economically stable," Dodik told reporters after visiting the company GMP.

He noted that Republika Srpska had an additional BAM 1.5 billion in GDP over the past year.

"The company GMP contributes to the overall balance of the economy of Republika Srpska and to the population, thereby securing revenues for the republican budget," Dodik said.

Dodik expressed satisfaction with the development of the company GMP, which is engaged in furniture production.

He stressed that it is of great significance that an Industrial Zone has been opened in Aleksandrovac, which should be further expanded.

"Republika Srpska is proud of the workers and the management of GMP because they have managed to operate successfully under difficult conditions," the President of Srpska stated.

The company GMP is one of the leading producers of upholstered furniture and employs more than 200 workers. The firm is equipped with state-of-the-art technology used in the furniture industry.
