DODIK: I'M SATISFIED THAT JANŠA WON, I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO FUTURE COOPERATION

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 18 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that Janez Janša is a politician whose name has been the target of attempts to discredit him through abuse of the judiciary for political purposes, but that his example proves how important it is to believe in the truth and persevere.

Dodik said that Janša is a politician who put the interests of the people above the interests of the bureaucracy, which is why he should have been removed because they could not defeat him.

"I am satisfied that it was he who won. His example proves how important it is to persevere, believe in the truth and not give up in the face of rigged situations and hunts," Dodik posted on X social network.

He wished Janša strength and health, and pointed out that he is looking forward to future cooperation with the politician who remains an indispensable factor in the political scene of Slovenia.

The court in Slovenia passed a first-instance verdict acquitting former three-term prime minister Janez Janša and two alleged accomplices from charges of abuse of office and corruption.
