DODIK: I CONDEMN GERMAN AUTHORITIES’ INTENT TO BAN AfD FROM OPERATING

BANJA LUKA, MAY 4 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik condemned the intention of the German authorities to ban the activity of the AfD, judging that this persecution testifies that European liberalism has turned into a punitive expedition intended to persecute political dissidents.

"The political-judicial persecution of the AfD proves that European liberalism has turned from promoting freedom into a punitive expedition intended to persecute political dissidents," said Dodik.

He added that the democracy that Europe was proud of meant respecting the will and choice of the people, but today we are witnessing the denial and trampling of the people's will for the sake of satisfying the interests of the political nomenclature.

According to him, the protection of the bureaucracy has become more important than the protection of national sovereignty.

Dodik pointed out that all parties that are advocates of respect for traditional Christian values and people's right to subjectivity are persecuted by rigged judicial processes.

"The bureaucracy defends its privileges without hesitation, but I deeply believe that the ideas of sovereignty and the will of the people will win in the end and that the AfD will continue its political activities," Dodik posted on X.
