DODIK: FUNDAMENTAL ISLAMISM IN BiH - SERIOUS SECURITY REALITY

BANJA LUKA, JULY 2 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President said that he has been warning for years that the fundamental Islamism in BiH is not an imaginary threat but a serious security reality.

Dodik pointed out that the foiled terrorist attack in Vienna, involving radicalized migrants, confirms how crucial borders, law, and cooperation are for security.

"I welcome the timely action of the intelligence services and the proof that international security cooperation — when real and concrete — saves lives," Dodik said.

The President of Republika Srpska emphasized that the debate initiated in the Republika Srpska National Assembly regarding the rejection of the British plan to resettle rejected migrants was not ideological rhetoric, but a matter of plain facts and security.

Dodik emphasized that the cancellation of the European Rabbis Conference due to anti-Semitism in Sarajevo, as well as the open support by certain structures for Muslim extremist movements, is a warning that no serious person should ignore.

"We will continue to cooperate with our international partners and allies in the fight against all forms of terrorism, because a secure Republika Srpska also means a safer Europe," Dodik posted on X.
