BANJA LUKA, APRIL 21 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik extended Independence Day greetings to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, and Foreign Affairs Minister Gideon Sa'ar, as well as to the state and people of Israel, on the occasion of Independence Day, to be marked tomorrow, April 22, wishing them to celebrate this major holiday in peace for years to come.
In his message to Prime Minister Netanyahu, Dodik said that since October 7, 2024, Israel has been going through the most difficult period since its founding in 1948.
"Republika Srpska stands firmly with Israel in these difficult times, in the fight against terrorism. We support you in every struggle and back your efforts to ensure peace, stability and security for Israel and the Israeli people. The interests of Republika Srpska and Israel are the same", Dodik stressed.
In his message to the Knesset Speaker, Dodik highlighted that he is encouraged by the resilience shown by the Israeli people in these historic times.
Addressing Israel's foreign minister, Dodik said that Republika Srpska seeks to keep alive the awareness of the shared fate of the two peoples, while further strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Republika Srpska and Israel.
