DODIK: CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR ALL LOCAL COMMUNITIES

SOKOLAC, April 24 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, has stated today that the institutions of Srpska will continue to provide support to Sokolac and Rogatica, as well as to all local communities in Republika Srpska.

After a meeting with the mayors of the municipalities of Sokolac and Rogatica, Strahinja Bašević and Ninoslav Prelić, Dodik told reporters that their energy motivates everyone else in the institutions of Srpska to react quickly and work effectively.

"When Bašević assumed the position of mayor, we intervened and stopped the deadly spiral in which the budget had been blocked for seven months," Dodik said.

He added that there are still some difficulties, but they will be resolved.

The meeting in Sokolac was also attended by the Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of Republika Srpska, Željko Budimir, the Mayor of East Sarajevo, Ljubiša Ćosić, and the acting director of the Public Company 'Roads of Republika Srpska', Miroslav Janković.
