DODIK CONGRATULATES JEWS ON HANUKKAH – THE HOLIDAY OF LIGHT AND FREEDOM

BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 14 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik extended his congratulations to Jews in Republika Srpska and BiH on the holiday of light and freedom, Hanukkah, wishing that it bring peace, joy, and prosperity to their homes.

“I wish you to spend the days of Hanukkah in good health, with your loved ones, celebrating the victory of light over darkness,” Dodik posted on X.

He extended his most sincere congratulations on the occasion of Hanukkah to the Jewish Community and all Jews in Republika of Srpska and BiH.

The Jewish Festival of Lights, Hanukkah, or Hag HaUrim, a holiday of freedom and light, begins at sunset. The celebration lasts eight days, during which Jewish families light an eight-branched menorah with eight main candles and one auxiliary candle.

Hanukkah is celebrated in remembrance of the three-year liberation war and the liberation of Jerusalem in 165 BCE.
