DODIK: BRIDGE IN GRADIŠKA TEMPORARILY OPEN FOR 100 YEARS

BANJA LUKA, MAY 20 /SRNA/ - SNSD president Milorad Dodik said that the issue of the new bridge and border crossing in Gradiška has long been resolved for Republika Srpska, stressing that the bridge is temporarily open for 100 years.

He added that he does not intend to debate whether the bridge is temporarily open or not.

"I can put it this way — the bridge is temporarily open for 100 years," said Milorad Dodik.

He reminded that the construction of the bridge was primarily financed by Republika Srpska, not BiH.

"It is the most frequented border crossing in BiH. I have ordered an analysis of how many citizens and commercial vehicles from Republika Srpska pass through it, compared to those from the Federation of BiH /FBiH/. You will see that more than 45 percent of the total traffic comes from people from the FBiH," Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka.
