DODIK: BiH IS A NON-EXISTENT AND FORMER STATE

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 18 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik has said today in Banja Luka that BiH is currently a non-existent and former state.

President Dodik stated that the Dayton Agreement is also "former" because it was dismantled by foreigners, not by representatives of Republika Srpska.

"As a contracting party, by the logic of law, we have the right to withdraw from an agreement if we participated in it. All this time they have tried to say that we do not have the right to exit the agreement. We agreed to the Dayton Agreement in its original form, which was taken from us.

The will of the Serb constituent people has been erased. That nation has the right to its own constitution, laws, institutions, and political life. It has the right to decide its own future," Dodik said at a press conference in the Palace of the Republic.

He noted that foreigners over the past 30 years have done everything to flatter the Muslims in BiH and create a country according to their wishes.

"We have gained nothing better even from the European countries, which tried, under the pretext of so-called European integration, to destroy everything that is our subjectivity," Dodik said.

He reminded that BiH, composed of two entities and three constituent peoples, no longer exists.

"We did not want to destroy BiH, and maybe we still do not want to, but we have no one to talk to. Muslims have repeatedly violated every possible agreement," Dodik emphasized.

He stated that the main goal of the Muslims is to dismantle Republika Srpska, and now they believe they can do it.

"In the `Ljubić` ruling of the Constitutional Court, it was stated that no law at the BiH level, no decision at the BiH level, can violate the Constitution of the Federation of BiH. But it seems that as far as Republika Srpska is concerned, according to their understanding and cynicism, it can. We will say it cannot," Dodik said.

He noted that Republika Srpska has aaproached this issue in the form of a political response.

"One of these political responses is also this transfer within the Government, the composition of the Government, but also what will be done at the level of the Republika Srpska Parliament, and by our representatives. Unfortunately, when we created the conditions to restore a negotiating position for Republika Srpska, our opposition rushed headlong into the FBiH and tried to build some institutions at the BiH level with them. Which they used as a basis, not to be accepted as equal partners, but to cynically tell them that they were the ones who saved BiH from Republika Srpska," Dodik stressed.

He added that there is a strong coalition majority in the Republika Srpska government, which will find a way to move forward.
