BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 29 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik says the United States, if acting rationally and in line with the policy of President Donald Trump, has no reason to send an ambassador to Sarajevo, which should instead be handled from Belgrade or Zagreb.

"That would be completely sufficient. In any case, BiH is an illusion built all this time by Trump's opponents. I believe that message must reach President Trump. They fed that illusion through constant attacks on Republika Srpska, by stripping it of its rights to satisfy certain appetites," Dodik emphasized.

He stated that he spoke with U.S. Presidential Special Envoy Richard Grenell in Montenegro about the current situation.

"Grenell is a man full of energy who knows this region well and understands what is going on here. He is very close to President Trump, that's well known. Grenell is committed to implementing Trump's policies around the world. That was enough for us," Dodik told Politika.

He mentioned that Grenell was accompanied by his associates, and that Željka Cvijanović, the Serb member of the BiH Presidency, also took part in the talks.

"From this distance, I can now say that we did talk about how to cooperate with President Trump's new administration, and how that cooperation can be successful andwhat each party should do in that regard," Dodik concluded.
