ĐAJIĆ: GRATITUDE TO SERBIA FOR CONTRIBUTION TO DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTHCARE SYSTEM OF SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 27 /SRNA/ – The University Clinical Center /UCC/ of Republika Srpska stands shoulder to shoulder with prestigious world clinical centers, and in addition to the staff of this healthcare institution, the leadership and institutions of Republika Srpska, a great contribution to its development has also been made by the leadership and competent institutions of Serbia, today in Banja Luka said the general director of UCC, Vlado Đajić.

"Almost all doctors underwent specialization in Serbia. Currently, more than 25 are specializing there. Many doctors from Serbia come here every day to work, and the most serious patients are treated in Serbia," Đajić told reporters after Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut visited UCC.

He added that Macut was satisfied with what he was able to see at UCC, and reminded that many donations to this healthcare institution came precisely from Serbia.

"I cannot forget the great support and assistance of Serbia to UCC and the treatment of patients during the coronavirus pandemic," Đajić said.

He stated that Macut’s visit gave hope and a promise that cooperation between the healthcare systems of Serbia and Srpska will be further improved.
