DALLAS, MARCH 26 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, stated that in Republika Srpska, they were very pleased when U.S. President Donald Trump said he would no longer engage in nation-building and that he wanted to protect Christians around the world.

Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas, Cvijanović said she was elected to the Presidency of BiH from Republika Srpska and that she feels there is now greater freedom to speak about issues that could not previously be discussed, largely due to the new administration led by Trump.

She emphasized that it is a pleasure to be there with people who share the same values.

“Coming from the Western Balkans means that we actually have a very complicated past. That is why I would say that things are now improving,” Cvijanović said.
