BANJA LUKA, JULY 16 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said that Croatia has every right to support its people in BiH and to raise all key political issues, stressing that this is not interference, but an obligation stemming from the Dayton Agreement.

Dodik emphasised that protecting the rights of Christians from Muslim unitarism is the only way for BiH to survive at all.

He noted that Croatia is not merely a bystander, but a signatory to the General Framework Agreement for Peace.

He stressed that Croatia's rights and obligations are clear and identical to those of Serbia and the joint level of BiH, and that these are facts which Sarajevo has been persistently trying to erase.

"As a signatory to Annex 10, Croatia has direct responsibility regarding the issue of the High Representative, just like Republika Srpska and Serbia. Accordingly, Croatia has every right to support its people in BiH and raise all key political issues. This is not interference, but a Dayton obligation," Dodik said.

He believes it is entirely natural for Croatia to stand by its Christian Catholic Croatian people, just as Serbia stands by its Christian Orthodox Serb people, because Christian values in BiH are being defended against hysterical attempts at outvoting carried out by Muslim Bosniaks.

"Attempts by the political elite from Sarajevo to portray this as an attack on sovereignty are ridiculous. This is a reflex of the arrogance of those who represent only one-third of the political authority, yet want to be the 100 per cent owners of BiH. BiH has never been theirs, nor will it ever be," Dodik stressed.

According to him, the authentic representation of Croats is not a matter of desire but of law and a foundation of Dayton.

"Any attempt to deny Serbs and Croats the right to have their own voice is a path towards the end of this kind of BiH, which we do not accept," Dodik wrote on X.

The Croatian Parliament adopted a Resolution yesterday on the political empowerment of Croats in BiH.
