CONGRATULATIONS TO DR. PETKOVIĆ-DABIĆ ON HER MEDICAL RESEARCH, A SUCCESS FOR ALL OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 13 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik congratulated Dr. Jelena Petković-Dabić on winning the prestigious International Medis Awards for Medical Research, emphasizing that her success is a major achievement for the whole of Republika Srpska.

"With great pleasure, I congratulate Dr. Jelena Petković-Dabić on winning the prestigious International Medis Awards for Medical Research. Her success is not only significant for her and the University Clinical Center, but for the entire Republika Srpska as well," Dodik wrote on X.

According to him, having such experts and people in society is invaluable.

"That is why such successes of our people should never go unnoticed," Dodik said.

The International Medis Awards ceremony was held yesterday in Ljubljana, and the first prize for medical research, among 18 finalists, was awarded to Dr. Jelena Petković-Dabić from Banja Luka.

She was nominated in the field of dermatology after the expert committee reviewed as many as 243 scientific research papers submitted from 11 countries.

Of those, 196 met the eligibility criteria, after which 18 finalists were selected.

This prestigious international award is often referred to in public as the "medical Oscar".
